This pizza was outstanding. We ordered two large pizza and it ONE fed my family of 6. We ordered a BBQ Chix with pineapple...outstanding! The other was a half pepperoni half cheese....great! The only downer was the wait. We ordered takeout and it took 40 minutes but an extra 10 mins as only one cashier. Overall a great place for NY style pizza.

I am originally from long island NY Gino's used to be good pie. We waited 2 hours for a pie and for some reason the taste is not good anymore. The dough ,cheese and sauce aren't as good anymore. Gino's needs to go back to original recipe. Long waits and attitude only work if your product is worth it.

We ordered delivery from here around 5pm. Told us it would be about an hour. When we still hadn't received pizza at 6:30pm I called back and after sitting on hold for 10 minutes I was told it should be there any minute. Waited another 30 minutes still no pizza. I called them back to say forget it but was again placed on hold until phone rang again and then disconnected (another 10 mins). Pizza finally arrived 2 hours 15 mins after we ordered and was COLD!! Delivery guy said he had issues with the order before ours but that's it...nothing else. I tried to call to complain but the line was busy and I could never get through again. Won't ever order from here again

Large pizzas, we made mistake of ordering a medium for two people and took over half of it home. Very good, the crust is perfect. My only complaint would be that the Margharita pizza was a bit oily. Could have cut back a bit on the cheese. Otherwise, great dinner!

Yum! This was the best NY style pizza I've had in a while. My hubby and kids liked it too. Our family of five ate for $26. Not bad at all!

If you are tired of fried shrimp, this is a break from the seafood. They have large NY style (meaning thin crust, big slices I guess like Ray's Famous) pizza. They don't put garlic on the crust by default as they tend to do in NYC but do have it as an optional topping. This is thin crust but cut so you can fold it up to eat. Not as greasy as I like but that's a modern thing I think. Pretty reasonable size for the price. There is plenty of parking as it is in a giant shopping plaza. They have carry out and delivery locally. They do have some limited seating (think NYC) so we carried out and ate at home. If you are looking for pizza, I would recommend it.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome! Best NY Style pizza I have ever had outside of Manhattan! Run by real New Yorkers, this is THE place for pizza in North Myrtle Beach. AND, they DELIVER! The pizzas are HUGE! No, really. They are HUGE!!! Lots of cheese, lots of toppings... good stuff! I can't WAIT for my next trip to MB so I can order from Gino's again!

Fantastic version of a NY Pizza! The lady behind the counter gave a lot of attitude to the annoying people in front of us, I thought it was a classic Brooklyn attitude, which just added to the whole pizza experience! Seriously though, this is a great pizza at a really fair price!!

Great tasting pizza, almost took a picture but couldn't wait to eat it. Also the wings and salads are good. Would go back.

  • Hasan S.

I agree, great pizza and the cashier does came across a bit gruff...but hey that's authentic NY style, but give it a sec and you can break thru with a bit of southern charm ;]

Best deal in Myrtle beach! The 5.00 lunch special can't be beat. 2 huge delicious slices and a soda. The pizza is true New York style. Do not pass it up.

Great food, resonably priced. We have had stromboli, which is enough for two, and antipasti salad, which is enough for two. Tried the spinach pinwheel too, which was great.

The lady who takes orders is the female version of the "Soup Nazi" on Seinfeld; we're constantly frightened she'll say, "Come back one year!!" if we order wrong. But the pizza is terrific and the baked Italian sub is as well -- both get 5 stars. And the other people there are nice. We go several times each year and try to stay on our best behavior. ;)

Best pizza in town. 4 star simply because they aren't the friendliest people but we just take out.

One of the first places we tried in Myrtle Beach, a few years ago. Saw their special posted outside. Two slices and a drink-$5!! in a tourist area!!! The slices were HUGE, and the pizza was authentic New york style. What happened next blew my mind. I asked if I could order Mushrooms on it. They said it was .50 extra. when I got it, I almost fell over. You know those little cans of mushrooms you see in the supermarket. There must have been a whole can on each piece. I was in mushroom heaven. We spend the summer in Myrtle Beach and we've visited all of the Gino's (he keeps adding more-Surfside, carolina forest, rt 501 !) dozens of times for their pizza. Thanks Gino's for bringing a good old fashioned pizza to Myrtle Beach!

Had pizza here 4 times in last 6 months. First time it was FANTASTIC, just like real Yankee pizza with a perfect crust. Next time really good too. The last two times only the young employees were there and quality suffered some. Also, they should know better than bleach the place during the lunch rush....fumes ruined the whole experience.

  • Jacob C.

You can tell this place uses cheap ingredients. The pizza was average at best and pricey for the quality. I read reviews that said this place had authentic NY pizza -- that is totally incorrect because it isn't even close to NY pizza. This is the kind of food where you feel like you wasted the opportunity for a good meal and got ripped off in the process. Overall a huge disappointment!!!

  • Wendy B.

Stromboli is excellent! Pizza is wonderful too! Best local place for pizza in Myrtle Beach area!!!

  • Elle F.

I've been here twice in the past week since I moved into the area which should speak volumes about how good this place is! Hailing from Brooklyn, NYC, this pizza place reminds me of home. Massive slices that barely fit on your plate, nice crunchy crust that cracks when folded and a tip that falls over with oil and cheese. DELICIOUS. So glad to find a little piece of home when I'm so far away. (This review is based solely on their pizza although they offer wings, subs and much more)

  • Samantha P.

I walked in and ordered the lady was snobby and rude. She was telling the employees if u burn another piece of pizza u will be fired. Great food tho

  • Zac J.

Guess you have to be a New Yorker to really enjoy this pizza . Ordered a large pepperoni pizza . Sauce taste like it was watered down . Might of just been a bad pie . Will have to try it at least one more time .

In myrtle beach on family vacation. Read some reviews on yelp, about Gino's and they were spot on. This place is awesome! We will be back. The pizzas are huge by the way.

  • Cassandra M.

Gino's has been added to our list of great places in north Myrtle beach! The food is authentic and very very good! We have tried the jalapeño poppers, wings, chicken fingers, and of course the famous pizza. Slices are huge! We have been back several times and haven't had a bad meal yet.

  • Darin S.

Food was excellent. Priced to feed your family. Wife and son had ziti. Enormous portion! Daughter and I split a 16 inch pizza and took home 3 slices. Ham was excellent as was sausage. Really a great place to get authentic Italian food at the beach.

  • Jonathan V.

Haven't been to this place since I wrote my first review (2010), so I stopped by last night and grabbed one slice of pepperoni. It was okay, except that the crust was crunchy. If you go, stick with a fresh pie, and skip the individual slices.

Being from North Jersey. This pizza reminds me of my local pizzeria Enzo's growing up as a kid. Great pizza. The only down side was there was not enough seating for my family of 6. All the booths seat 4.

  • Keshia S.

Great pizza! Real NY style in North Myrtle Beach. Place your order and pick up to avoid the wait.

  • Dash R.

Truly authentic; feels like you're in NYC when you're standing at the counter ordering. The guys who work there are great. Gino's offers pizza and other Italian favorites. Eat in or take out. We ordered a 20-inch pizza, with toppings. They brought it to the table and it was good! The seating area is comfortable; tables and booths; no frills. Soda machine where you can get your own refills.

  • Sidra O.

Good pizza, not sure if it's good enough to wait an hour and a half for our order. They are always so busy I've always waited over an hour for my order. The woman at the counter is efficient but nasty. She needs some customer service training.

First let me say that i worked at a local pizza place in Charleston while going to college for 4years. The pizza is as advertised, NY style big and really quite good. The pizza gets 5 stars! But they lose 2 stars because this is not NYC and I could do without the NYC attitude. If I wanted to be treated the way the lady who took my order treated me I would move to NYC. Remember that you are in South Carolina, the land of manners, and this means please and thank you. I called for delivery and asked if they would deliver to Little River since they're in NMB and many places won't deliver across the bridge. The "lady" very rudely said "I need your full address to deliver your food". no shit! I almost told her to forget about it right then and there! Manners are free and they go a LONG way here in the south! you might get some more return business from locals like me if you'd stop acting like a Yankee b****! Needless to say I won't be a return customer, I can get pizza with a smile at many other local spots that is just as good and I'm sure those businesses will appreciate my patronage

  • Clay J.

Phenomenal pizza. Closest thing to New York I've had in the south. Exactly as advertised and the pizza was delivered very quickly. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the nasty lady who answers the phone. Not the first time I've spoken to her and from other reviews I've read, it seems she is the regular one who answers the phone. I think I would have her do I something else, like clean the bathrooms or something. I can handle a little rough around the edges and don't mind at all for the quality of food.

Very good NY/NJ style pizza! This was a very difficult task to find 'home-style' pizza as on Yelp, Domino's had a 5 star rating! Seriously?!?! Do NOT pass up Gino's when in North Myrtle Beach! Thanks guys...you didn't let us down :-)

  • Tony A.

Ordered a large pepperoni. It was ok they were very busy that night so it may have not been there best effort. It took about an hour to arrive, which they did say upfront. It was very warm but not hot. Dough was very good, sauce was ok kind of bland decent amount of toppings. Will probably give them a second try if in NMB again

  • Jim B.

Pizza was good, but very greasy. Definitely need to blot it with your napkin if you don't want too much grease. I agree 100% with Thomas G.'s review below. The lady at the counter had too much attitude. People are on vacation. They don't need your bad attitude. That attitude is enough to make me go elsewhere next time. It's not like they are the only pizza joint in town.

  • Charlie P.

I love thin crust pizza. I also love a pizza place that sells not only a whole pie, but by the slice, just the way you want it. So, I really like Geno's! Fast service, and really reasonable prices. And a Mom and Pop place as well. Only thing missing is a cold beer :(

  • Marcus O.

I had a craving for NY style pizza last night and found Gino's through the Yelp app on my phone. It was exactly what I was looking for. The pizza was great and the staff was very friendly. I paid just over $6 for two 2 topping slices, which were huge. I definitely recommend Gino's.

We would come back again. Delightful owner. Very generous with ricotta cheese on white pizza. Enjoyed thin pepperoni pizza, too. About $2 for very large plain slice.

I went here because of all the great reviews. Pizza sauce was lacking in any taste, terrible and bland. The garlic bread has no taste; it was a piece of oily bread with sprinkle of garlic pieces that was probably from a bottle of spice world garlic. I really wanted this place to be good because of the local feel to this place but no thanks.

REAL New York style pizza made by REAL New Yorkers and it is some of the best I've had, from Attica to the Bronx, from Cleveland to the Strand. If you're looking to grab a pie, look no further. Their pies are large (20", 18", and 16") and delicious and piping hot. Seating is tough as they are a smaller store front so you might opt for take-out. But they deserve the crowd they get. You cant do better for pizza at Myrtle.

Much better than I was expecting and they deliver too!

I'm from the Northern NJ/NY area and was looking for a quick slice before heading out somewhere. I ordered a regular slice and one sicilian. They weren't horrible but they weren't exactly good - DEFINITELY not NY pizza :-/ I do come from the land of good pizza but this place fell short from the dough to the sauce to the cheese :( I'll keep experimenting while I'm down here to find a decent slice...

Real NY pizza not a poser!!! Been going here for 10 years everytime we come down to the area. Not a fancy place. Huge pies ..seating is limited but everyday its a 2 slice and drink combo for 5 bucks. Best pizza and I miss it every time I leave.
